A Professor and a group leader at the Center of Nanotechnology, King Abdulaziz University (Carbon Nanostructures).
He has a Ph.D. degree in Physics and his research interest includes nanomaterials (synthesis, characterization, application) like carbon nanostructures, optical and thermoelectric nanomaterials produced by different techniques for various applications mainly Energy, Water, Dosimetry. He authored/co-authored > 170 research papers and has > 15 US patents. Teaching some courses in the Nuclear Engineering Dept and supervision of research programs, Guiding PhD students and mentoring Post Doc Fellows.
