HRH Dr. Maha Al Saud is the Vice President of External Relations & Advancement at Alfaisal University (2014- present) serving as a member of the Board of Trustees & Chairperson, External Relations Advisory Board. A dynamic leader with 25+ years medical, research and education experience across Alfaisal University and King Faisal Specialist Hospital she showcases an international spotlight on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for healthcare policy and frameworks and how they shape discussion related to education, women, medicine, science, and technology.

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, she is academically qualified with a Senior Executive Leadership Program (Harvard), a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and completed her Residency in Internal Medicine at George Washington University. A Master of the American College of Physicians (ACP) 2021, she is also the President of George Washington University Medical Alumni, for Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region and recently completed the Senior Executive Leadership Program at the Harvard Business School (2019-2021).

A distinguished Keynote & Panelist Speaker globally, she represented Saudi Arabia 2020, as Lead Co Chair, Migration & Young Societies at G20. Panelist Speaker at the Women’s Forum G20 in Italy, 2021, where she addressed “Resetting the Health Care System: Champions for Equal Access to the High Quality of Life”. Panelist Speaker at Harvard Business School (HBS) Crossroads - GCC Future Impact Forum 2022, Dubai, UAE, “Planning for GCC’s Future Health Care”. She was panelist speaker at THE MENA University Summit 2022, Kuwait, “Leadership Reflections: How can we successfully bridge the gap between policy, institution, and industry?”. Most recently, as Founding and Advisory board member of Saudi Alzheimer’s disease association, she was speaker at 5th International Alzheimer’s Disease Conference 2023, titled “The role of Academic partnership with the association”.
