Dr Haleema A. Alamri, is the Director of the Energy technology observatory department at the Ministry of Energy. Prior to joining the ministry, she was a liaison manager of Aramco R&D center at KAUST, and an acting chief technologist for the Non-Metallic division at Aramco
She was also a team leader of the materials design team at Saudi Aramco working on the development of innovative solutions for sustainability and circular carbon economy, while being a research affiliate at MIT (Chemistry department).
Haleema hold a PhD in chemistry and polymer science from KAUST catalysis center and a master degree from university of Waterloo, Canada in chemistry and Nanoscience. She works with a range of organization in designing the energy ecosystem through creative solutions to address important gabs and accelerate the kingdom target in energy sector.
Haleema has around 12 years’ experience in the field of catalysis, polymer science and composites through her applied research in different organization where she also have multiple contributions to various scientific publications and patents.
